Muse News!

Mark Hughes has been operating the Polecam with Muse for a while now.  This new world tour with NightHawk has a Polecam equipped with the AJA Rovocam, a Polecam RCP, a double legged AutoPod+ with Panasonic UE150 camera and affectionately known as the Big Dog!  Also a Waterbird track, AutoPod+ and Panasonic UE-150 camera giving unique shots around the Domonic Howard on the drums.

"Hey Pal, it’s been going great here on the tour. The Waterbird/AutoPod+ is now in a full C shape going from behind the drummer to directly in front of him. The shots from it look incredible. My initial plan for the Big Dog (Double Leg AutoPod+) didn’t actually work out. I was hoping to get it upstage with the drummer but there’s just too much going on up there so it’s ended up on stage right. Still gets some great stuff though and the Director is very happy with it all. 

The Polecam is being used better than ever.  Matt Belamy and I are really playing with it a lot. The Sachtler Hot Pod and Dolly makes such a difference. Being able to fully swing the boom 360° has opened up some great new possibilities. I had some film industry friends down to the Toronto show and they were very impressed by it all."
