The Ostrich is the Industrial Inspection Polecam System. Currently available as a 6m telescopic carbon fibre pole (4 sections) that collapses to 1.7m in a soft bag. Optional 10m also available (8 sections) and a possible 6m (8 sections) that collapses to 1m for a more compact pole.
Price: £1295 for the 4 sections 6m system.
The unit comes complete with a Kodak SL10 camera with a 10X optical zoom lens (2 x battery with USB charging). A 2000 Lumen Super Bright Zooming Torch with 2×18650 3000mAh Battery and USB Charger. A self-powering tilt system and a mount for a smartphone all in a small waterproof flight case. Photos and videos are taken using an iPhone or Android phone (not provided) utilising the Kodak PixPro Remote app and stored on the provided 32Gb MicroSD card
There are many cameras on poles inspection systems BUT none with our name and heritage.
This is truly a turnkey system, all you use is your smartphone.
